Crediton Mayor officially opens brand new homes at Tarka View
23 October 2018The Mayor of Crediton joined local independent house builder Devonshire Homes to celebrate the official opening of a stylish new homes development named Tarka View.
Cllr Frank Letch was joined by Mrs Natalia Letch, Mayoress to cut the ceremonial ribbon at Devonshire Homes’ Tarka View development, off Wellparks Hill, Crediton. The special reception, at which guests were able to look around two stunning new show homes, was attended by members of the Crediton community and construction industry professionals.
The Mayor and Mayoress were given a guided tour of both show homes and gardens by the Devonshire Homes team. The Mayor said: “I was delighted to attend the launch event of Devonshire Homes’ Tarka View development. It was wonderful to see for myself what a fantastic new development it is and hear how the site is progressing. The homes blend in nicely with the surrounding environment and I could clearly see that they were built to Devonshire’s high-quality standard.”
Construction is well underway at Tarka View and Devonshire Homes has already experienced a significant level of interest from house hunters looking to move to Crediton. Ultimately, Tarka View will be a collection of 185 freehold homes with one bedroom apartments and two, three and four bedroom homes available. The government’s Help to Buy scheme is available on a range of properties, helping potential home owners move onto or up the property ladder with just a 5% deposit.
