  • Technical Coordinator

    Due to continued expansion of the business Devonshire Homes are seeking to recruit a full time Technical Coordinator. The position which would be based at our head office in Tiverton and the successful applicant would report directly to the Technical Manager.


    To appoint and manage external consultants to ensure delivery of full and accurate technical information to an agreed timescale.

    To ensure all value engineering possibilities are explored and realised whilst maintaining a high quality finished product.

    To assist in the production, submission and management of our Planning Applications.

    To ensure all planning and S106 conditions/obligations are communicated to the site team and complied with.

    To progress Section Agreements as required to at least Technical Approval stage and to assist other departments to achieve adoptions.

    To be a pro-active member of each site team and provide quality information and support to other departments as required.

    The above list is not exhaustive but gives an outline of the role and calibre of candidate required for this demanding role.

    The successful candidate is likely to have experience as a Technical Coordinator or be looking to make the progression from a Trainee or Assistant Technical/Architectural/Engineering role. They will have experience of being involved on a number of residential projects at any one time. They will be an excellent communicator and able to forge a strong site team consisting of colleagues and external consultants. They should have good drive and determination for continued improvement, enthusiasm and pride in their contribution to deliver the highest quality Devonshire Home possible.
