Customer Service Technician

Due to continued expansion a vacancy has arisen for a full time Customer Service Technician

As an industry leading regional house builder we have a vacancy for a full time Customer Service Technician to join our team working across Devon and Cornwall.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the job requires maintenance and repairs to new build properties. Excellent communication skills required as you will be liaising with customers and head office ensuring they are kept informed at all times.

Works to be carried out in a courteous and professional manner, maintaining the excellent reputation of Devonshire Homes which requires providing a customer-focused service at all times.

Maintain accurate records of completed work and ensure all works are undertaken safely at all times.

Those wishing to apply should have a trade background, preferably with experience of carpentry, decoration and general maintenance.

The role entails extended periods of working alone and therefore should have the ability to think independently and react to changing situations.

Should have extensive experience in undertaking customer service issues, experience in new build housing desirable, have a great attention to detail and only accept the highest quality workmanship and finish.

As the role will require an element of lone working, the successful candidate would need to be flexible, articulate, well-presented, have an ability to use a laptop, be organised and self-motivated with a can-do attitude in getting work completed right the first time.

Driving is essential and therefore you must hold a full driving licence

This full time position comes with a company van, pension and 25 days annual leave. Salary commensurate with experience.
