Coronavirus update from our Chairman
23 March 2020We are living through the greatest national crisis since the second world war. Everyone is affected. Everyone, and every company, has a part to play in conquering this virus and returning the country to normal.
Devonshire Homes will do its upmost to protect its workforce, customers and suppliers, while carrying on its business of building and selling homes wherever possible.
All customers and visitors to our sales offices are asked to book appointments and observe sanitising procedures, as described elsewhere on this website. Onsite working by employees and subcontractors is subject to controls over numbers and personal contact. Most office staff are switching to home working for which we are fully prepared. We will observe all government directives, whilst trying not to add to the immense strain on the national finances.
All our sites remain open at present, and our build programme continues. I am immensely grateful for the positive way that our staff, suppliers and contractors are rising to the challenge.
