Devonshire Homes celebrates its Silver Anniversary and raising over £36,000 for local charities
4 October 2017House builder Devonshire Homes is celebrating its 25th anniversary and fundraising more than £36,000 for charities across the region.
At a special event in Cullompton, Devonshire Homes announced that the impressive amount raised has been donated to a selection of local charities including Children’s Hospice South West and Hospiscare. Devonshire Homes’ staff have participated in a variety of fundraising projects from fun runs to half marathons, coffee mornings to Christmas jumper days and gruelling cycling challenges to sky dives. The independent house builder has also made a charitable donation on the completion of every private house sale in the last few years.
A cheque was presented to Naomi Dymond of Children’s Hospice South West during the house builder’s 25th anniversary celebrations for the latest instalment of fundraising for the charity which supports children with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Since its launch in 1992, Devonshire Homes has built approximately 1,500 new homes in the West Country and created 30 new communities. Creating high specification homes that meet the needs of modern day life, the West Country house builder is currently selling new homes in five locations across the region and recently successfully launched new homes developments at Mazzard View in Landkey, North Devon and Tarka View in Crediton.
