Award-winning West Country house builder appoints new managing director
13 July 2017Award-winning West Country house builder Devonshire Homes has appointed Tony Lane as its new managing director.
Tony joins from Galliford Try, where he was Pre-Construction and Development Director. Tony delivered a range of complex projects across the residential, commercial and regeneration sectors in his 27-year career with Galliford Try.
At Devonshire Homes Tony will lead on identifying land opportunities and will be responsible for overseeing operations – from land purchase through to customer service.
Attracted to Devonshire Homes by its reputation for delivering a quality bespoke product, Tony is excited about joining a private company with a clear ambition to grow. He said:
“I have joined at a time when the business is focused on growth, with a strong desire to become one of the larger players in the region.
“I am looking forward to working with the Directors and empowering the team to work together, to shape the way the business is run, and facilitate a strategy for expansion over the short, medium and long term”.
He added:
“Devonshire Homes has two new sites due to launch this summer, which are poised to deliver much-needed new homes in north and mid Devon. I’m particularly looking forward to working with the team, including our joint venture partners, to make effective starts on these sites and deliver high quality homes and developments”.
