Couple delighted with their home in the country
17 October 2017Caroline Richards and her husband Mike, have been living in their home at Westaway Reach for over a year and couldn’t be happier. The couple moved from the Algarve in Portugal to the Barnstaple development in June 2016, keen to start their next chapter in Devon.
Caroline and Mike are proud owners of a four bedroom Sanderson house type with the charming local area and the well-designed development influencing their move.
Caroline said: “We wanted to move to a quiet area situated in the country but not be too cut off from the rest of the world. We fell in love with Westaway Reach as soon as we visited. The development is quiet and surrounded by beautiful countryside but is only a 15-minute walk away from Barnstaple so we have plenty of local amenities right on our doorstep.”
Caroline and Mike were keen to move to a new home in Devon which met their needs at an affordable price.
Caroline said: “We were impressed with the Sanderson as it had a good layout and was the perfect size for us. The price of the house suited our budget without compromising on design or quality. I particularly love the kitchen and dining area as it provides plenty of space for dining and entertaining.
Westaway Reach is a well-designed estate and it is evident that much thought has gone into the layout with each house benefiting from plenty of privacy. A year on, we love living here and couldn’t have asked for a better home. The house fits us and works well with our lifestyle.”
