Devonshire Homes celebrates 100% recommendation from home buyers in 2021 customer satisfaction report9 March 2022
West Country housebuilder Devonshire Homes has achieved a 100% recommendation from its customers according to the latest results from an independent UK-wide research company.
In-house Research, which carry out customer satisfaction surveys on Devonshire Homes open market purchases, revealed that 100% of customers surveyed last year would recommend Devonshire Homes to a friend or family member. The local independent housebuilder has previously been awarded ‘Outstanding in Customer Satisfaction’ from the research company which works with national and regional developers across the country.
Devonshire Homes has been building homes across the West Country since 1992 with current developments in Crediton, Kingsbridge, Bovey Tracey, and St. Austell with a new site in Bideford launching this spring.
Hayley Mills, Customer Service Manager at Devonshire Homes, said this is the first time she has seen a company achieve a 100% recommendation for a whole year in her 15 years of working in the industry.
“This is a great achievement for Devonshire Homes and is testament to the hard work and dedication of not only the customer service team, but to everyone in the business who strives to deliver high-quality new build homes that we can be proud of. This is a first for me. Never before in my career have I seen 100% recommended achieved. We have worked hard to improve all our touch points with customers, so this is fantastic to see, however we do understand it is a continual process and are committed to delivering the best home buying journey to our customers.”
The privately-owned housebuilder, which is aiming to double turnover and deliver 400 homes per annum by 2026, recently extended its revolving credit facility with Lloyds Bank and appointed a new Managing Director, Angus Cook, to spearhead its growth plans.
Angus commented: “Like Hayley, I too have never worked in a business that has managed to achieve a 100% recommendation for a whole year, so it fills me with great pleasure and pride that the Devonshire Homes team have managed to achieve this. It solidifies our position as a reputable housebuilder in the region and knowing that our customers are living happily in their new homes, gives us complete job satisfaction. It’s why we do what we do. With the confidence of our customers behind us, it puts us in a great position to achieve our ambitious growth plans by 2026.”
Suzy Osborne and her partner Toni were the very first homeowners who moved into Devonshire Homes’ latest Bovey Tracey site, Longston Cross.
Suzy commented: “I would definitely recommend Devonshire Homes and I feel like they have already built up a good reputation in the region. Some of my friends can be quite sceptical about new build homes so when I announced that I was buying one, I said it’s fine because it’s Devonshire Homes and instantly, they took that to mean that it will be a good-quality home. The customer service was top notch, and the quality is excellent.”
Independent housebuilder Devonshire Homes, based in Tiverton, has been creating new homes and communities in towns and rural areas across Devon and Cornwall since 1992. Current developments include: Tarka View, Crediton; Longston Cross, Bovey Tracey; Gwallon Keas, St. Austell and Applegate Park, Kingsbridge.
