Devonshire Homes donates to Wincanton Community Hospital garden project
3 June 2026We're pleased to announce that we have donated £250 to Wincanton Community Hospital to support improvements to the hospital’s garden for patients, visitors and staff.
Devonshire Homes is currently building new homes at Dancing Green, located next to the hospital, and made the donation to support the wellbeing of those using the local health facility.
The donation will go towards new planting, helping to create a more welcoming and comfortable space for patients, visitors and staff.
Wincanton Community Hospital provides essential inpatient care, rehabilitation, and various outpatient services to the local community.
"Mo” Mahoney, Chairman of Friends of Wincanton Community Hospital, commented: “Our objective this spring was to raise enough funds to improve our outdoor space for patients, visitors and staff. In addition to upgrading the outdoor furniture, we also wanted some new planting to really brighten up the garden. Devonshire Homes’ donation will enable us to source some new flowers and shrubbery, for which we are most grateful.”
We're proud to support the communities in which we build in, having raised more than £65,000 for local charities and community services since 2016.
