Early birds can snap up homes off-plan at Cullompton’s Rivel’s Green

6 June 2016

Prospective buyers can now take their pick of the plots and sign up to secure homes on the new Rivel’s Green development at Cullompton.

Tiverton-based Devonshire Homes have released the first properties for off-plan sales, just weeks after initial construction began on the site of the former Cummings Nursery.

Purchasers have the opportunity to snap up their preferred plots and home styles in the new community on the western side of the town, which will have 100 properties.

A mix of two, three and four bedroom houses, means there will be homes to suits all households and pockets. In addition, the Help to Buy scheme is being offered on the development, meaning buyers would require a deposit of just 5%.

“It’s clear that people are eager to get in early to choose exactly where they want to live in Rivel’s Green, and in which type of property,” said Devonshire Homes Sales and Marketing Director Jane Pearce. “We are very happy that the development is proving so popular already.”

When Devonshire Homes were given planning approval last September, the Mid Devon District Council planning committee praised the company for the way they had addressed any concerns raised by local residents.
