New homes are coming to Cornwall as construction starts in Altarnun
20 December 2022West Country housebuilder Devonshire Homes is one step closer to bringing much-needed new homes to the village of Five Lanes, Altarnun as construction starts on a collection of new build homes.
The development, named Five Lanes Close, is Devonshire Homes’ third Cornwall site and will bring an exclusive collection of 12 high-quality new build homes to the village which is located on the northern edges of Bodmin Moor.
House hunters will be able to choose from one, two, three and four bedroom homes and will benefit from easy-access to the A30 in addition to local amenities including a 12th Century church, pub, village shop and Post Office.
Each home will be built to Devonshire Homes’ high-quality standard, offering a stylish, practical, and modern living space with carefully designed exteriors that remain sympathetic to the local environment.
With construction now underway, homes at Five Lanes Close will be ready to reserve in spring 2023 with the first completions coming through in late summer 2023.
Under the S106 agreement, Devonshire Homes will contribute to the local community with a £15,135 off site public open space contribution and a £16,416 contribution towards local education.
