Hartland Living Room Furnished Small

Last chance to reserve a detached Hartland home in phase one at Longston Cross, Bovey Tracey

4 February 2021

Devon house hunters have a rare chance to reserve a detached three bedroom Hartland home at Devonshire Homes’ second Bovey Tracey site, Longston Cross.

The local independent house builder has announced that its Hartland house style on plot 34 has been released for sale, and it is the only detached Hartland in phase one of this popular site.

First time buyers keen to reserve this property can use the Help to Buy Equity Loan scheme, subject to eligibility, terms and conditions. A number of changes to the scheme have been made this year but plot 34 still qualifies for the scheme, allowing buyers to reserve this new build home with as little as a 5% deposit. At a price of £294,950, first time buyers could reserve the Hartland house style on plot 34 with a deposit of £14,747.50.

Now only available to first time buyers, the Help to Buy Equity Loan scheme is exclusively for new build homes. To be eligible, all parties buying the home must not have owned a home or residential land previously and not have had any form of sharia mortgage finance. Future homeowners can use the Help to Buy Equity Loan scheme to reserve a Devonshire Homes property by depositing 5% of the market value. The Government will contribute 20% through an equity loan and customers will secure a mortgage for the remaining 75%.

Devonshire Homes is also offering its popular furniture package on plot 34. Reserve this new home and you will benefit from £7,000 worth of furniture from the UK’s largest interiors services provider, David Phillips. Devonshire homeowners will have access to over 3,0000 items of furniture to choose from, allowing them to decorate their new home just as they have always imagined.

As the only detached Hartland house style in phase one at Longston Cross, this home built to Devonshire Homes’ high-quality standard is a rare find. Potential homeowners will enjoy the privacy that a detached home has to offer in addition to a generously sized rear garden. Inside, house hunters will discover a separate kitchen to the front of the house which includes modern integrated appliances. Enjoy whipping up delicious meals in a kitchen which offers plenty of worktop space and a stylish tiled kitchen floor included within the price.

Follow the hallway through to the open plan living / dining area which features French doors leading out onto the rear garden, flooding the room with natural light. This space will quickly become the heart of the home thanks to its flexibility to furniture layouts, meeting the needs of modern-day family life. The ground floor has been finished with a handy store cupboard and cloakroom, providing a home for umbrellas and muddy boots.

Upstairs, bedroom one and two are of a similar size with the master bedroom including fitted wardrobes and a luxury en-suite shower room. Bedroom three would suit as a little one’s nursery, or a peaceful study for professionals who work from home. The first floor is complete with a family bathroom which includes a shower over the bath at no extra cost.

The Hartland on plot 34 is £294,950.

Jane Pearce, Joint Acting Managing Director, at Devonshire Homes commented:

“We’re pleased to release for sale the detached Hartland house style on phase one at Longston Cross. As we have a limited number of detached Hartland homes available on this site, we expect this plot to be snapped up fast so I would urge house hunters who are interested to get in contact with our Sales Executives as soon as possible. They can give you more information about the home, its features and how you can use the Help to Buy Equity Loan to reserve this plot today.”

Jane continued: “Although this version of the Help to Buy Equity Loan scheme has introduced new regional price caps, a number of our new homes at Longston Cross still qualify for the scheme. In addition to the Hartland, we also have the three bedroom Bickleigh house style available under the scheme so do take a look at our website to find out more.”
